Change is a fact of life. At Buzzy’s we have the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of people who devote their time, talents, and energy to our mission. As 2024 came to a close, our team members Alex Causey and Emilia Kirstein let us know their energies were being drawn to personal priorities. We are grateful that they will still be part of our hive and commit to volunteering as time allows. Thank you, Alex and Emilia!

To keep our programs running smoothly we welcome the addition of Danielle Halbert to our team. Danielle is Amanda’s longtime friend. Having met in high school, Amanda and Danielle have developed a special friendship and important places in one another’s families and lives. Danielle has much pride in watching her dear friend (along with her family) bring life to Buzzy’s Bees. Danielle looks forward to joining the team as the Administrator and plans on supporting Buzzys’s Bees in any way she can!

Danielle lives in Sandy, Oregon with her husband Dan, and their three kids, Cora, Kennedy, and Colton. Her family has the fondest memories of Hudson and have watched the growth of Buzzy’s Bees from the beginning! She and her family love adventures and the great outdoors. They spend their free time camping, hiking, boating, and exploring the Oregon dunes on their quads and side by side.
