Give Grief A Voice Application
In speaking with families who have lost young children (stillborn to 12 years old), we realized how important it is to listen to their story and to assure parents that their little one will be remembered always. With that in mind, we launched a special project in 2019, Give Grief a Voice.
We are engaging writers and artists to capture stories and create a unique piece of art as a gift to families we support. Buzzy’s Bees wants to give voice to many perspectives and prioritizes applications from families whose parents, or the child, identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, or Multiracial, immigrants and refugees, people with disabilities, homeless or houseless communities, and LGBTQIA+ families.
