Resources, Support, and Connections to Help While Feeling Isolated and Alone

Resources to Help During Feelings of Isolation

Zoom and Meets and Teams, oh my!  So many ways to connect virtually.  And we are grateful for them all as we continue to navigate these weeks – months! – of staying home.  But it is doubtful there will be a loud protest from anyone when it is time to gather in person to share news, exchange ideas, and provide support for one another.  It is hard to be separated.

Being alone, isolated, abandoned.  These are not the feels we seek.  Yet in our interactions with families who have lost a child, we hear these are common experiences.  The shock and pain of the loss can be magnified by feeling cut off from everyone.  It is like wandering around on a new and scary planet and there is no such thing as Google Maps for guidance.

Buzzy’s Bees exists to help in this gap.  If you or someone you know is navigating this road we invite you to connect with us.  For now, it will need to be the kind of sharing we can manage at a distance.  Because of that we have updated our Resources page on the Buzzy’s website.  We hope you are able to find some help for yourself or to share with others.

We know that we need each other.  And until the time comes for us to be together in person, know that we are with you in spirit.
